About the venue
The Hollow at Paris Mountain sits on 30 acres in the foothills of Paris Mountain, about 10 minutes from downtown Greenville. The owners built it in 2013 for their daughter's wedding, then opened it to other couples. The grounds include a 35-by-45-foot covered cedar pavilion, a flagstone patio, and water features, plus an indoor den and bar area and two dressing rooms. The venue lists capacity at about 200 guests, and rentals are venue-only, so you bring your own vendors.

Aim for portraits in the last hour or so before sunset, when the light is soft and the trees behind you glow instead of going dark. A covered pavilion helps in rain, but it also gets dim, so plan on flash once the sun drops.
