Can you film a Blue Ridge Parkway ceremony?
Yes, with a National Park Service permit (the couple handles it). Parkway ceremonies tend to be short and the backdrop does most of the work. Always have a weather backup in case the Parkway is socked in with fog.
How does mountain weather affect the film?
Mountain weather is unpredictable. Fog can roll in fast, afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer, and the light can shift a lot between morning and evening. We'll plan a weather backup with you and your venue: an indoor option, flexible ceremony timing where possible, and a rain plan that still looks good on film.
Do you bring a second videographer to mountain weddings?
Every package is one videographer, including Platinum's full-day coverage. For Parkway overlooks and small mountain ceremonies, a small footprint is an advantage: less gear, less setup, and nobody blocking the view.
