About the venue
Historic Greer Depot was built in 1913 as a passenger station and freight warehouse for the Piedmont & Northern Railway. After a restoration it reopened as an event venue in August 2021. The main indoor room is about 3,600 square feet, with ADA-accessible restrooms and a catering kitchen, and there's a 900-square-foot outdoor rose garden for a small ceremony, cocktail hour, or photos. Seated capacity is listed at up to 200.

Restored depots usually pair big original windows with newer overhead lighting, so you get clean window light by day and mixed light at night. The rose garden is a softer option for portraits between the ceremony and reception.

Downtown Greer is small and walkable, so a five-minute walk to a brick wall or a storefront for a few street portraits fits easily into the timeline. Inside, the original architecture gives you plenty of detail to work with.
